The ISMA Winged Warriors To Make Long Awaited Appearance at “The County”
South Amherst, OH (November 10, 2014) – As the 2015 racing schedule takes shape, L.C.S officials announced that The County will host “ISMA Summercade” on June 26th & 27th. It will mark the first time since 1984 in the tracks history that it will be hosting an ISMA (International Super-Modified Association) event.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to form this relationship with ISMA” said Kevin Bonnema, Owner of Lorain County Speedway. “This partnership would not be possible without the support of the super-modified fan base we have right here in our backyard. Our next step will be to start an extensive search for a title sponsor which will be a necessity for an event of this size. We hope to announce the new sponsor at the start of the 2015 season.”
Verona, NY (November 9, 2014) – The Turning Stone Shenandoah Clubhouse was the site of the annual International SuperModified Association (ISMA)’s banquet. The celebration also ends the 40th anniversary of the club’s inaugural point season. The awards ceremony was begun after a delicious buffet dinner by master of ceremonies Danny Kapuscinski, Public Relations Specialist at Oswego Speedway.
After recognizing the numerous loyal ISMA sponsors led by Corr/Pak, Hoosier Tire and Shea Concrete Products, an appreciative mention was given to the long list of volunteers who make it all happen throughout the year. The 2015 Officers and Board of Directors were also acknowledged. Howie Lane continues as President, Doc Hathaway as VP, Marsha Gadzera was named Secretary and Kathy Harrington, Treasurer and Membership.
